First Founders Inc. & Black Innovation Alliance are excited to partner with Village Capital and IBM to identify BIPOC-led startups leveraging highly sensitive data to improve the quality of, and access to digital, financial and healthcare services.
Through the IBM Hyper Protect Accelerator, startups will learn how to scale their businesses, connect with mentors and advisors, and gain exposure to investors, while receiving access to up to $120K in IBM cloud credits. Applicants will also be considered for a lighter-touch accelerator, “Friends of Hyperprotect” and a global Datatech for Good Coalition that is open to all applicants and will serve as a community for like minded entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.
The program is seeking startups from North America, Europe, Latin America, Africa, MENA and SEA that:
Are legally incorporated as a for-profit entity
Use personally identifiable information to increase access to digital, financial, or healthcare services
Are under $1 million in yearly revenue
Are less than 5 years old
Have some traction (this is not limited to revenue, but can include successful pilot studies, number of users, and/or strategic partnerships)
Have positive social impact
